Wide, Utes rout San Diego St 38-7

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) No. 23 Utah showed no hangover from its humbling and disappointing loss to TCU, quickly taking advantage of an overmatched opponent.

Eddie Wide rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns and the Utes scored all their points in the first half and coasted to a 38-7 win over San Diego State Saturday.

"We responded really well after last week. Our energy and passion was great in the first half and we executed well on offense, defense and special teams," Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said. (MORE)
