Cromartie suspect in San Diego bar injury

SAN DIEGO (AP) San Diego police say they're investigating a claim that Chargers defensive back Antonio Cromartie hit someone in the head with a champagne bottle at a bar.

Detective Gary Hassen says officers answered a report of a fight at Bar West in Pacific Beach shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Hassen says a witness claimed Cromartie threw a champagne bottle but the Pro Bowl back says it slipped from his hand. (MORE)
