Analysis: Young is 7-5 with a 3.00 ERA through 19 games - 13 starts - in his first season with Kansas City. He's been outstanding through five road starts, going 3-1 with a 1.44 ERA. This will be Young's first start at U.S. Cellular Field.

Analysis: Young dodged trouble for most of 5 1/3 innings, the only run he allowed coming on a triple by Danny Santana in the fifth. The big, lanky right-hander turned over a 1-0 deficit to the game's best bullpen, but his offense was unable to help him out.

Analysis: Young allowed four hits and two runs. He walked one and struck out four. That was in stark contrast to Young's previous start against Boston when he was tagged for seven runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Analysis: Young, who had tossed 13 1-3 scoreless innings in winning his previous two starts, yielded seven runs on three homers, four doubles and three walks in 4 2-3 innings. "I didn't make enough good pitches," he said.
June 17 1:24 PM PT2:24 PM MT3:24 PM CT4:24 PM ET16:24 ET20:24 GMT4:24 1:24 PM MST3:24 PM EST3:54 PM VEN0:24 UAE (+1)3:24 PM CT-Young became the first Royals pitcher to drive in three runs in a game since 1972 and worked seven innings of five-hit ball Tuesday night, leading Kansas City to a 7-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Analysis: Young had a two-run single in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the fifth for the Royals, who have won six of eight after a 2-9 skid. He is the sixth Kansas City pitcher with at least three RBIs and the first since Steve Busby. Young (6-2, 1.98 ERA) hasn't allowed a run in 13 1-3 innings in back-to-back wins.

Analysis: Young has been an excellent pick-up by the Royals, going 5-2 with a 2.25 ERA in 13 games, including seven starts.
June 5 10:37 AM PT11:37 AM MT12:37 PM CT1:37 PM ET13:37 ET17:37 GMT1:37 10:37 AM MST12:37 PM EST1:07 PM VEN21:37 UAE12:37 PM CT-Young was horrendous Thursday, allowing six runs in five innings.
Analysis: Young had been dominant since moving from the bullpen to the Kansas City rotation, allowing just one earned run over his first four starts. But the AL's comeback player of the year with Seattle last season has struggled the past couple of weeks. Young gave up four runs and seven hits in six innings against the Yankees his last time out.

Analysis: The right-hander was making his first start of the season and could stick around in the Kansas City rotation after striking out nine. He's limited opponents to a .083 average in 14 2-3 innings.
Mar. 7 10:06 AM PT11:06 AM MT12:06 PM CT1:06 PM ET13:06 ET18:06 GMT2:06 11:06 AM MST1:06 PM EST1:36 PM VEN22:06 UAE12:06 PM CT-The Royals added depth to their starting rotation Saturday by signing Young to an incentive-laden, one-year contract.
Analysis: The 35-year-old Young was 12-9 with a 3.65 ERA for the Mariners last season. He was voted the American League's comeback player of the year after missing most of the previous season because of surgery to correct a nerve issue in his neck and shoulder.
