Hedges scored once. He ended the game with a .205 batting average.
Analysis: The standout defensive catcher has been providing some offense as well of late. Hedges is batting .310 (9 for 29) with four homers and 11 RBIs over an encouraging nine-game stretch.

Analysis: A swing-for-the-fences mentality has been paying off for Hedges, who has homered in six of his last nine games while driving in 12 runs. He has only five other hits all season and is batting .183.

Analysis: Hedges leads the Padres with five homers and clubbed 21 in 82 games for Triple-A El Paso last season, so there's some power in his otherwise-deficient bat. Just don't expect a high average out of the 24-year-old, who's a .166 hitter at the major league level.

Analysis: Hedges was hitless in his first 23 at-bats of the season but has since batted .333, and he's homered three times in his last five games.
Apr. 12 1:36 PM PT2:36 PM MT3:36 PM CT4:36 PM ET16:36 ET20:36 GMT4:36 1:36 PM MST3:36 PM EST4:06 PM VEN0:36 UAE (+1)3:36 PM CT-Hedges is now hitless in his first 23 at-bats after going 0 for 4 in the Padres' loss at Colorado on Tuesday.
Analysis: Hedges now owns an awful .141 average with 52 strikeouts in 184 career at-bats at the major league level. The former top prospect's excellent glove may keep him in the Padres' lineup, but he shouldn't be in any when it comes to fantasy baseball.

Analysis: Hedges, who has played in just 64 major league games, is set to take over at catcher for Derek Norris.
