Analysis: The left-hander racked up an impressive 29 strikeouts over his final three starts of the regular season. Though he notched only one win over his last 13 starts, Rodriguez has a solid 3.44 ERA over that stretch to earn a spot in Boston's ALDS rotation.

The left-hander still hasn't won since mid-July, going 0-4 in 10 starts despite a respectable 3.50 ERA during that period.
