Impact beat Red Bulls 1-0 in CONCACAF CL

MONTREAL (AP) Marco Di Vaio scored in the first half in the Montreal Impact's 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls in a CONCACAF Champions League game Wednesday night.

The Impact improved to 3-0-0 in group play, with one game left against New York (1-1-0) on Oct. 22 at Red Bull Arena.

The Red Bulls played without stars Thierry Henry, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Tim Cahill and finished the game with 10 men after defender Connor Lade was sent off with 14 minutes left.
